By accessing or using IndieBuddy (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IndieBuddy is an artist business platform that provides software tools (SaaS) and connects users with vetted professionals (“Buddies”) for on-demand services. The Service includes business management tools, a credit-based marketplace, and project management features.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Credits and Payments

The Service uses a credit-based system for marketplace transactions:

  • Credits are purchased through subscription plans
  • Credits expire 90 days after being granted
  • Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and expiration

5. Buddy Services

Buddies are independent contractors, not employees of IndieBuddy. While we vet all Buddies, we do not guarantee the quality of their work. Disputes between users and Buddies should be resolved through our platform's resolution process.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Buddies
  • Attempt to circumvent the credit system
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IndieBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
